Reviewed as 2 mid-age adults, no children. Pre-booked, pre-paid. 4* of 5 Staff friendly, quick check-in. Quite a way out of town, fine for us but not for children. Airport / Road noise not noisy, no problem for us on our pitch. Pitch large, and nicely separate from neighbours, concrete slab. Amenities dated but scrupulously clean and plentiful. Laundry clean and lots of hanging space outside Wi-Fi good Really happy!
Nice and clean unpowered site. Toilets and showers were clean. A bit noisy during the night due to an airport not far from there.
No non-powered site. The toilets / showers are clean. The food is very good. Noisy in the morning with the road next to it
No unpowered sites.
Super welcoming staff Impeccable sanitary facilities We only stayed there for one night but we could have stayed there for a week without any problem.
After an exhausting drive down from Cairns, baby screamed and we pulled up to this lovely, welcoming park near Townsville City. Facilities are clean and plentiful. Receptionists was really friendly. The service made a difference.
We stayed two nights and the campsite was great! ($60 for one night without electricity and the other with). The locations are well marked, clean toilets and showers and there is even a kitchen. The person who welcomed us was also very pleasant! Only negative points: - Very slow or non-existent Wi-Fi - we heard a lot of helicopters at night
Really helpful owners make sure we felt comfortable from the start and gave us some nice advice for our trip to magnetic. Facilities really clean and good bbq facilities. Definitely recommend to go there.
Really friendly and helpful owners. Most campsites are really big and beautiful (grass, trees, no highway noice). To bad that the camping was almost full and that we had to stay on one of the 8 sides near the entrance (Music festival, at noon most campings where already full). No trees = no shadow and a lot of highway noise during the day. Fine if you're just looking for a sleepingspot, but not really nice if you just want to relax on your holiday (and these spots are the same price ($35) as the more beautiful ones...). There are many clean toilets and showers. I love the plants inside the block.
Nice campsite, clean bathroom and helpful staff! We were told they didnt do unpowered at this time of year so paid $35 per night for powered (which we made the most of). Great location to pop to shops, food and town but need your van/can! A few noises from the highway and RAAF base next door at night but nothing that stopped us for sleeping!
