A magnificent campsite overlooking the lake. The sanitary facilities are adequate and very clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped. At an altitude of almost 700 meters, the nights are very pleasant and quiet. It's a truly excellent place to stay.
Besides the lake views there is not much else to recommend. Amenities are poor, no wifi, lacking natural habitat, surrounds are all grassed - right to waters edge
One of the nicest campsites we have visited in Queensland. The site is very clean. The camping kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The view of the lake is marvellous. No wifi but the reception via mobile phone is good.
we absolutely loved this beautiful campsite by the lake! although there were only 2 toilets and one shower per gender i never had to wait to use either even though the campsite looked full. the pool was great as well! will be back if we’re ever in the area again.
We had an unpowered site right next to the boat ramp. One shared toilet and one shower. I felt more comfortable going over to the public toilets. Council workers leaf blowing at 7am on a Saturday. I wouldn’t bother unless you’re and early riser
The unpowered sites have the perfect location overlooking the lake. Good clean facilities and friendly staff. The market in Yungaburra on the last weekend of the month is fantastic. Don’t miss seeing the platypus in the creek in town.
The best view ever! Lovely big place with great facilities. Just didn’t have stove, but not a big deal.
Such a great spot right on the lake. We stayed for 1 night - unpowered $24. The owners were lovely and welcoming. Tired facilities but clean. Also 5 mins up the road is a platypus viewing creek - we saw 2 just after sunrise, and the curtain fig tree is also round the corner! Would stay here again
Nice hot shower, we parked in unpower, next to the lake. 23 per van. No kitchen
Beautiful campsite. The pictures are absolutely not what you will find. As good as no mosquitoes, which was very pleasant. Generally very well maintained
