Beautiful campground next to the lake. Very nice people. Got a warm welcome and a personal visit to warn about maintenance work in progress. It also has a camp kitchen (incl fridge, microwave, BBQ etc) , which was not mention under amenities. The facilities are a bit outdated, but very clean. I would come back here any time.
Nice spot but the lady that checked us in was rude, which spoilt it a bit.
Does not accept motorhome nor caravans
Peaceful quiet and with wide open green space next to the lake. 22 aud 2ppl pn. Would stay here again.
“Thank you for your kind review. Genazzano is just that ... Quiet and away from the madding crowds.”
Beautiful
“Thank you.....we think Genazzano is a very special place ourselves.”
Great campsite! Very friendly owner and very clean toilet block with showers. You can borrow a fire bowl cheap and buy firewood here ($ 12 for everything)! We arrived late and could still sleep in the first row with a direct view of the lake. Come and enjoy!
“So Glad you liked your experience. Front row views are usually available unless it is school holidays or long weekend.”
Too handsome
“It is a very pretty park that is for sure.”
Beware no caravans allowed on this side and no motorhomed either
“Unfortunately the council wont give us the license for caravans and motorhomes....we would love to welcome them but we can't...sorry”
Spent to two nights over the Easter break wonderful place to stay . As we are from Cairns will become our getaway place , when we can lovely place . And a lovely little town of Yungaburra is just a short drive from camp site plus lots to see and do the Tablelands.
A truly amazing place to get away from the busy city life and enjoy the quite nature right at the edge of the lake. It's 15$ for two people to stay and 10$ to rent a canoe for half a day, that is such good value or money. Dogs are allowed. At the moment big rigs and caravans aren't allowed, but small campervans and juicy buses are more than welcome. And such lovely people running it. Highly recommended!!
