Quite a way out of town, close to beach but no restaurants near or open at the time we visited (although reception lady arranged for mobile catering if needed) Pitch large, concrete slab. Great. I recommend it. Very welcoming (let us know if you have a late check-in!!). Spacious, hot showers, clean barbecue, right on the beach.

Lovely campsite. Perfect for all ages. Very friendly and helpful owners. Perfect for chilling and walking down the beach. Cafe on site which serves good food. Highly recommend this site.

Cannot thank Peter and team enough for their help We arrived bedraggled from Townsville the roads had been flooded and the electrics in our van had failed Peter provided instant help and within half an hour we felt safe and secure it was if south mission beach had given us a big hug The food in the cafe was excellent particularly the breakfasts and fish and chips We were so happy there we stayed an extra night and were very reluctant to leave They saved our holiday by their kindness Ann&Bill

Very nice campsite with lots of trees for shade. We had a spot right at the front near the beach. You just cross the street and after 5 meters you are on the beach - amazing. There was also a stinger net here so you could swim safely without jellyfish. Or you can walk along the long beach. The amenities are clean and well equipped. The park is in an area for cassowaries, which seem to come to the site quite often. Unfortunately we didn't see any.

Not busy this time of year Dec 3,. Nice pool, very clean and nice showers. Great kitchen/BBQ area. Wonderful beach wirh stinger-net so it is possible to swim, but the beach itself is sooo wonderful to walk along. 52 dollars pr night

Loved our stay here! We were camping in a small tent and they had great, clean facilities (everything you could need) and friendly helpful team. Also definitely recommend the fish and chips - it’s delicious!

Enjoyed our 2 nights here in a beautiful location right next to the beach, which is quieter than Mission Beach main. Supermarket not too far away, in Wongaling. Fished at Barra Down under, after a recommendation from the park owner (I think), which really is well worth visiting, even if just for an hour... Look it up. Pitches and facilities great, no complaints. Only drawback was timing our visit for Monday and Tuesday, where onsite shop is shut. Visit. It's a lovely place.
