Great site, we stayed 1 night and had the best experience! Well kept facilities and the staff are great, highly reccommend walking to the city along the waterfront. It is AMAZING. 10/10
The place is spotless and well-maintained, with friendly staff to boot. Its location is convenient, close to town, but the view isn't exactly breathtaking – you won't find much to gaze at out your window. However, the facilities are top-notch and well-looked after. Overall, I'd recommend it, but it ultimately depends on your priorities.
Good campsite, staff were very friendly and helpful. Amenities were clean and hot showers available. Close to Roy's Peak for early morning hike.
Solid campsite with clean amenities and warm kitchen. 3 min drive into town. FYI they’re STRICT on check out 10am (even though it’s dead quiet in the middle of winter and no other parks have seemed to care if we stayed an hour longer lol)
Good location, decent showers, large kitchen area, communal bbqs with heaters, expensive site but worth it.
We enjoyed our stay & like all the other Tasman Holiday Parks we’ve stayed at throughout NZ, they are well-run & you know what you’re getting. Check-in staff was very helpful & offered a replacement power chord to us for the night as we were having some issues with ours. Facilities were in great condition & good location to Wanaka.
Beautiful campsite, especially at this time of the year with all the autumn colours. All facilities are clean, we paid for the 1 hour sauna/hot tub facility which you get privately for $30 an hour - great value and clean. Saw they also hire out bikes which we didnt know until we checked out! Tight parks but other than that, can’t fault it. Stayed here two nights on separate occasions.
Very good campsite, we stayed there for 2 nights. Great kitchen, toilet and clean shower. 7 min drive from Roy’s Peak and 5 min from Wanaka center (25 min walk). Offers bicycle rental ($55 per day)
Clean public facilities, however they are in between water boilers, so the showers are lukewarm during busy hours (~8pm). Not the best experience after hiking 10 miles in the cold of April 😂 Otherwise a nice campsite !
Most expensive price I've ever heard of for a camping ground. Guess Wanaka has become this simply due to the fact that "they can" charge this and due to demand will get the money. Sad really. Head out of Wanaka 30min and pay half the price for even nicer facilities.
At Tasman Holiday Parks, we’re not in the business of la-di-daaa...
