off season so able to book last minute. Nice and clean campsite with easy access to good facilities. Showers have a 7 minute hot water limit but it did the job!
Great Park and nice staff
Because it's the off-season, there were plenty of empty spots at the campsite. We arrived a bit late, around 7:30 PM, but thankfully the campsite map had been sent to us via email from reception. The campsite was very large and quite quiet, perfect for stargazing at night. The hot water in the showers was plentiful, making showering a breeze. The only downside was the Wi-Fi; it would connect, but the connection would always drop after about 15 minutes, requiring a reconnection.
A very nice campsite, superbly located, very clean, and a friendly lady at reception. For a hot shower, you have to press a button, and then the hot water lasts for 7 minutes. But that's perfectly sufficient.
Less than 5 min drive from the ferry terminal which was ideal for a late arrival. Good facilities, showers on a 7 minute timer (can restart by pressing button), big kitchen area, really good wifi for a campsite, ideal location for picton - we walked down to the marina for a day boat trip which was really convenient. Pool a bit dated/small but we stayed in Autumn so didn’t use it anyway
Good campsite! Kitchen facilities great. Clean toilets and showers BBQ works well. Pool is a bit cold. Good Wi-Fi and friendly staff.
Good location, great places, everything clean
Stayed on the unpowered site, good facilities, clean and close to the ferry for the queen charlotte track
Very helpful staff who were willing to keep a site for us until 2 pm for the second night when our ferry was cancelled and we weren’t sure whether we would get a standby ticket.
Campsite is fine, generally clean, quite expensive ($78 a night for powered site) nice outdoor bbq area. Pool is tiny though, and unfortunately one family was acting like it was their private pool, hogging the entire thing, with their kids shrieking the entire time. Some of the bathrooms are timed, supposedly 7min for hot water but was much shorter, so ended up with half a cold shower. Also had some noisy neigbors (American & Irish from the sounds of it) who were talking very loudly until late.
