Let me say right off the bat, this place is a complete rip-off! The campsite is quite remote and requires driving on many rough roads. It's probably fine for a campervan, but not for a tent. The pitches are sloping and stony! On top of that, there's no seating near the tent pitches. If you're camping in a tent, you can't just bring any old chair with you.
Clean well kept campground, lovely walk to waterfall. Unfortunately very windy the night we stayed and our site had poor shelter from the wind. $25.00 for vehicle and pass
Split into 2 camping areas, the ones on the right as you drive in are flatish but the ones down the bottom are all sloping. Many of the campsites are right next to each other with no privacy and some have huge fireplaces right in the middle of the camping area which can make it difficult. We had a large group of very noisey youngsters in the 3 adjoining sites next to ours who spoilt or stay by chasing the roos, shouting and swearing. But the walk to the waterfall and the cove walk are great. KPJ
Stayed in the gorgeous site #1 which was secluded and private. Trees offer great wind protection and the wildlife is quite friendly. Stunning hikes all around
Very quiet place with lots of friendly kangaroos. I think people might have feed them as they come close when you eating. We did the 11k walk pass the waterfall and ocean Cove. Very beautiful
Nice camp. But it's a shame like everywhere in the national parks in SA. You have to pay the entry fee plus the extra fee for the campground with nothing then a drop toilet. No water for washing your hands! The road to the camp is a joke, it's so bad.
Its a nice campground with an amazing view over the sea. A lot of kangaroos are in this area. You need to book the campground in advance! You can also book it there but the service is really bad. It took us a while to find a spot where we got a service signal. There is also an extra fee (10$) for the nationalpark.
A very nice place, very remote. Please note that there is a national park fee added. We paid $ 10, but I do not know if it's $ 5 per person or $ 10 per vehicle. In addition, from 1.11 to 31.04 fire is prohibited because of fire hazard. It is at the toilet. Penalty is $ 210 pp The place must be booked online before! You still have the possibility to book directly at the place, but the mobile internet gets very bad there. Better book ahead!
Lovely campground for off-grid camping. Sites are generally well spread out for privacy with a block of drop toilets located near the centre of the camp ground. While the road access is suitable for all vehicles, it is gravel with a clay base and can get slippery in wet weather.
