Really pleased to have found this quiet little campground close to Blinman. Mick is an amazing source of local knowledge - where to get tyres repaired /replaced, where to visit and what to see in the area. He is a no fuss person for whom nothing is a problem. He’s really encouraging of people making the most of their time in the area. Check out his amazing carved handicraft esp, walking sticks. We have left our van for a few days to visit Arkaroola, and feel confident it is safe at Micks.

Found it was closed after 800 metre very rough entry road. No signage on main road. Not impressed as towing a van.

What a fantastic spot to camp! We really loved Blinman and Mike’s camp is the perfect spot to stop. Large open sites with fire pits along an old riverbed. Well built drop toilets. Ask like how to get to town via the track over the hills - a lovely 2km walk or mountain bike. Head to the bakery for some of the best bread you’ll eat and delicious pies and snacks. Highly recommend ???? BW
