The non powered sites are along the river bank. The powered are all together as you come in. It's a simple and peaceful setting where you can see platypus, spotted quills, pademelons, echidnas, glow worms and lots of birds. Close to national Park office which includes cooked food sitting the day.
This spot has both powered and unpowered wires and plenty of space. You self register after you find a camp spot, it was super easy to do. The toilets, showers and laundry are all nice and clean. A nice quiet area close to many walks. We also were lucky enough to see a platypus in the river too!
Laundry, clean toilets and how showers for $2. Unpowered and powered sites in a gorgeous spot. Usually you have to pay but some sites are unavailable due to them upgrading so we got it for free. Unfortunately was raining when we stayed so couldn’t check out the hikes :( but overall great spot
Decent and clean offered by national park.
Would definitely recommend this campground. It is great value at $20 a night for power (2 people), you do need a parks pass though to enter. They do not take bookings, so for the best chance to secure a spot, I would recommend arriving by midday. There are lots of nice walks to do in the national park.
Really great location by the visitor centre. Friendly and helpful wardens. Self booking $16 unpowered. Pitches are all numbered and when you pay you get a ticket to put on your pitch so you can driveaway and it's reserved. Very popular so arrive early. If no available pitches walk around and check the leaving dates on people's tickets. Toilets good. Laundry. Showers with tokens. Totally recommend. Lots of wildlife!
Nice pitches with all the facilities 40aud for a water elec gray water camper van. Token shower 2aud 4 minutes payable by card on site. No reservations, 1st come, first served. Take your location early and the payment coupon is used to keep the location in a pocket on each site if you go for a walk.
$16 for an unpowered site. 4 min shower for $2. Everything was clean, on a river and close to the national park. I recommend!
Very nice place. Great value for money as it's just 20$ for a powered site. Facilities are good. Be aware that there is only a narrow gravel road up to Lake Dobson and not recommended for larger campervans.
Lovely camp and very well priced at $20 powered and $16 unpowered. Self register with cash on site or card at visitor centre. Facilities include laundry 4 x $1 coins to wash and same to dry. Showers by token bought in laundry $2 for 4 mins.
