Plenty of unpowered sites, no need to book ahead for these. $20 a night, extra $2 for water. Clean toilets, quiet and peaceful with a walking track around the lake. Reasonable phone signal.
Zoners. Highly recommend, close to Launceston CBD Powered & Unpowered Sites, Drinking Water, Toilets, Dump Point. Rubbish Bins, Note No Showers. Friendly helpful owners. Railway Line close by but only a couple of trains in a 24 hour period. Great Ice Creamery & Restaurant onsite. Definitely worth staying a few nights. Very Family Friendly and Great Farm interaction with the Gentle Animals. Pre Bookings required for Powered Sites.
The farm stay was wonderful. My 2-year-olds absolutely loved the donkeys and rabbits—they were gentle, friendly, and clearly used to visitors. The any-size campsite was spacious and well covered with grass, which made a big difference for little kids. It was much nicer than the gravel sites at Big4, and at around one-third of the price, it was excellent value for money.
Great place for caravans easy access into Launceston, being a animal lover was hard seeing the 6 poor conditioned donkeys in paddock with hardly any grass had no hay out for them , more animals goats alpacas and emus around other side also hungry battling for a feed.
Pleasant stay, nice clean dump point & toilets. No showers provided. Donkeys onsite as you drive in are friendly. Seems to be lots of tiny bugs of a night. Some of the powered sites are on the narrow side but were ok for a short stay. Powered $40/night Unpowered $20/night Firewood and Firepots are available when ordered before 4pm with delivery to your power site from 5pm to 7pm of an evening. Firewood (milk crate size) is $15.00 Firepot hire is $5
Really nice campsite. Lots of cute farm animals and has lots of nice walks to do around the site. Has a dump site and clean bathrooms.
The best campsite we have stayed at on our trip. Shame we could only stay one night. Beautiful grounds with some lovely walks around the lake, also nice to see the farm animals. Which is great for the kids or even if you haven’t! Restaurant is also great, can just grab a drink and sit out looking over the lake. Only down side if I had to say something was the powered sites could of done with being a tad bigger so there’s more room for your table and chairs to sit out on.
Loved it! Nice big powered sites. Toilets were very clean. No showers.
Great spot for one night! Good value, no needs to book. Kids enjoyed visiting the animals and we took the little walk to see the eagle nest. Toilets are new and cleaner than many expensive campgrounds like BIG4.
What a beautiful farm stay this was for a stop over. We took a walk around the lake which was lovely. We enjoyed to read how this farm started by the leaflet in the information hut. We only stayed one night due to time restrictions but definitely would of loved it to be two.
