No rooftop tents permitted even though it’s technically self contained. Free but permit required from council. Also space to camp is very small, one person has parked their camper in a way that nobody else can park. Avoid
We've stayed here a couple of times. You can only camp in a specified area at the rear of the ground and unfortunately when we stayed, there were a couple of campers who thought the two separate areas were reserved solely for them and parked in a way that others couldn't access. Aside from this, it is a great spot a few minutes walk from wonderful, charming Evandale. The Clarendon Pub is a fantastic visit for morning coffee/breakfast. Brand new toilet blocks are situated at nearby Pioneer Park.
Available MON-FRI when the markets aren’t on. You have to get on the council website and register but can simply write down the number on a piece of paper and put it in the window. Plenty of room to park self contained vehicles. Toilets and water can’t be accessed but there’s public toilets 5 minutes down the road. You can also refill water bottles at Evandale Oval.
Swing by and check it out. I'd recommend.
This is a quiet camping site right next to the Evandale market. But you can't use toilets and water here. It takes only 6minutes by car to Launcestorn Airport.
Sufficient space in the forecourt of the market hall. Attention: Only a certain area is officially approved for overnight camping! Permit Number must be requested online or by phone, but is super easy and quick.
Great Spot for Self Contained Campers
