Nice place for overnight stop, green grassy area to park good for big rigs and vans or tents drop toilet only no shower or water . Good fishing area along river , there is no access to beach from campsite unless your real keen to walk through waist high water and very rough terrain $15 per night 70 pw until end of march then free again till December i believe
Excellent, green grassy camp grounds. Plenty of room for big rigs, you need to be self contained There is now a caretaker on site, for $15 bucks a night or $70 for a week, very clean and well maintained Great place to stay to enjoy the area between Portland and Warrnambool
Free camp in June 2025 lovely campground and walk to river
A night for 2 people with a camper only cost 10 dollars. The place is very well maintained, but only toilets and no showers. You're right on the beach, but there are a lot of flies.
Great, quite clean place right at the river
Great spot, nice and quiet with lots of space Right on the river. Also dog friendly.
Very nice and quite place! Free!!!! Very recommended!
Well looks very nice. But sadly lot of fifty pigs have been staying here & couldn't careless about others once they leave. We spent hour cleaning up. But very clean drop Toliets & yes it is windy place . If you have rubbish put it in a bit or take it out . Kids come here & play etc
Only 2 x M/F toilets, ensure you have own loo paper as they do run out ocassionly. No pit fires allowed at all, but can have your own Ozpig type or similar no probs. No power at all at this site, so be self sufficient. Great little fishing spot in river, can even catch 40 - 50cm Snapper, Bream, Mullet are always about. Easy access to boat ramp, can either walk or 4x4 drive along rivers edge to beach. Vehicles are not allowed on beach tho. Fantastic beach fishing spot for Shark, Snapper, King Fish etc. Can get very busy over Xmas / NY times, but is an awesome spot to camp up and enjoy the tranquility.
Very windy and way too many flies, which just won’t go away with any spray! We were here 3rd January and there weren’t many sites left, really packed in! The river looked nice, lots of ppl fishing and the beach was just ‘so so’ (I’ve been to better! If ur desperate, drop in for a nite, otherwise I wouldn’t bother!
