Great free campsite in the middle of the forest, lots of spots, possible to make a campfire and bbq. Lots of wildlife especially birds (kookaburras, red and blue parrots) and kangaroos. The birds will come close to your camp hoping to get some food, please don’t feed them it’s so bad for them and they can get aggressive. Unfortunately someone was giving them bread which makes them sick.. They will come close to the campsite anyway so no need to feed them ☺️ Would definitely stay here again ⭐️
Beautiful spot! Saw koalas, kookaburras and roos. Stayed on a friday night and there were lots of people but still plenty of space. Drop toilets
Plenty of space to camp. Good sized fire pits provided. Just a warning the local kookaburras will steal your food if left uncovered even if you are standing a few feet away. Toilers are drop toilets and are reasonably clean. BYO toilet paper in case there isn't any
Perfect for disconnecting a while. Plenty of spots to park/camp
Really nice camp spot with loads with trees for shade, has toilets and picnic tables, was quite busy when we went and had signal with optus
Used to be our favorite campsite back in 2020 and it is still a favorite now that we are continuing our trip in 2025.
Great campsite, suitable for caravans, tents and motorhomes, very peaceful lots of flora and fauna, designated fire pits, drop toilets, no running water, must be self contained , no rubbish bins . Please take your rubbish with you and clean up after yourself Free camp so if we all look after the area it will be kept free Limited wifi service, great tv reception , we stayed a few days , doesn’t seem to be a limit and no booking required
Amazing free campsite: No flush toilets available, designated parking spaces right next to the tent sites and plenty of space. No booking required, bring your own firewood if you want to light a fire in the designated firepits. We didn’t see any running water nor bbqs.
The campsite was quite spacious and beautiful. The toilet is not a flush type and is a little dirty. Fires are allowed in designated areas, and wallabies are common even before sunset.
Camp site reopened. Very green in the middle of the forest. Few nice walking trail. Lots of wildlife. Dry toilet.
