4WD only. Keep in mind that you need to drive 50km on soft or bumpy sand to get there. The toilets are no flush toilets. The beach is a little bit disappointing as there’s pretty much nothing spectacular to see. No phone signal either (Telstra)
Well signed, easy to follow and plenty of different camping options, large and small. Drop toilets are well maintained, and sites are well spaced. Definitely need a 4wd as there is very soft sand coming in to any of the top camps, or even the lookout. Air compressor at the entrance is certainly a nice touch, making things much quicker. Ranger does visit so be sure to get your passes ?
4WD is a must. 1.5-2hr drive in Charges ppp and per vehicle, cash required on entry... Approx $35pn for 2 Lovely beach... Warm waters but be prepared it can get windy
Beautiful spot, a must do if you have a 4WD, very exposed to the wind, all and all great spot to check out and lots to explore in the nearby area!
We slept almost in the beach. Really quiet and private. Amazing moon!!
Close to the main road, 3 big loops with multiple large campingspots. Very close to the beach! nice and clean toilets
