Good park but sites close to each other. Bathrooms pretty clean but red dirt hard to remove. Good location but bring earplugs for trains and noisy neighbours. Dampier is convenient for local sites including Cossack.
Great spot for park. But unfortunately no water you can fill your tanks., at the entrance. I feel over priced, for what you get.
Great little park right on the waters edge. This camp is open but as it’s a community park, it is looked after by volunteer “Camp Hosts” It was perfect for what I needed. It’s a Transit Park for travellers, so it’s not a Destination Park. Facilities were clean and park was neat and tidy. Only 20 powered sites so not huge. 72 Hours maximum stay. The Camp Host there at the moment is a fantastic host. Very safe solo female traveller A++
Arrived not knowing that it was closed as it wasn’t advertised until a we saw a sign on the entrance and was approached by a unfriendly gentleman then sent away
They need to clean it up or shut it down. Chemical toilet disposal in the corner of the laundry, old run down unclean amenities, no onsite water. Power on a dusty, scruffy site for $35 2A/night.
The lady owner is very helpful. Toilets and showers could be cleaners. Good laundry and kitchen facilities. Small places.
Nice small caravan park with drinking water, washing machine (4$), clean showers and toilets. Very friendly caretaker, we got a lot of information about Dampier and the area like in an information center. We payed for a site for our car with rooftoptent 20$ unpowered. Thank you!
Place was closed and looked abandoned.
Don't bother unless you book well ahead. We booked on the way and were given a site number but it had already been filled. Their care factor was zero and it would have cost $35 for a sand pit. In a lovely spot. That's about all.
Make sure you call beforehand to get prices, got there and once I was settled, got told $35 powered site. Great location, very quiet, but doesn't worth $35
