This site is great. Very nice bushcamp with greatmr spots, nice staff who are very helpfull. At the campsite there are several short tracks with loads of interesting things to see.
So great we stayed 3 nights! (originally thought just one). Beautiful and peaceful bush camp with clean unique toilets, hot water, great kitchen, dams, walking tracks, wildlife and great hosts! Thank you for a lovely stay ?
Nature based campground. Clean hot showers and flushing toilets (the toilets use dam water so toilet water is a little dark but showers use awesome fresh rainwater) and fresh clean drinking rainwater is available at the camp kitchen and some powered sites (tested by health dept and is perfect). Powered sites and unpowered free range sites where you just pick where you want. Drive through level sites for large buses or RVs and plenty of secluded sites for vans tents etc. Some double sites so friends can camp beside each other. Lakes and dams roos birds flowers and the usual wildlife, walk trails in the forest. Prices may be old, so check prices. Cheapest in the SW when i looked. Check the facebook page for photos etc. More positive reviews than any other park.
Payed for 3 people with power, lovely Campground
Cheap and comfortable campground. You can choose your site, it is plenty of room and shade. Paid 7.5 adult/night. Hot and clean showers. Toilets. Indoor camp kitchen with fire heater for cold or rainy days. Recomendable.
Stayed here for 1 night last minute, beautiful setting, real bush camp experience! An absolute must see if you are in the area. Extremely good value! would have loved to have stayed longer!
The campsite is pleasant. Good atmosphere.
The campsite is really good. There is everything you need. But the concierge "the man with the beard" really disappoints me. It was the first time in a year that I met a very unfriendly cartaker. In the beginning there is a sign with, if I'm not there, find your place and put money in the pig. So I wanted to do that. But the man became very angry and could not understand why I did that. I thought I was doing something wrong. But the following 4 cars did exactly the same. I hope for him that he had a bad day and that it is not his personality.
Privately owned land with owner who allows camping on his property. There is a nice enclosed camp kitchen good for windy and rainy weather, and gas for cooking is provided. There is running water but maybe not the cleanest for drinking. Perhaps boil it first. Toilet is flushing type from dam water. Shower is a sun shower so “no sun, no hot water” applies. There are a few nice walks to do around the property. There were, what seemed to be, a lot of long term single old men staying at the property with their caravans, but all seemed friendly and mostly kept to themselves. I would have preferred a bit more socialising, but that’s how it is. A few backpackers arrived late in the day with their campervans and had zero social skills. Recommended place and much better value at $5 per person per night
