$20 for unpowered site, $25 for powered. Clean toilets, multiple spaces available when we arrived past sunset. Find a space then pay at the bar inside. Very friendly staff. Clean toilets, laundry machine available.

Directly opposite the sea, clean toilets, shower and washing machine. Everyone was very friendly and easygoing, highly recommended.

Nice spot, and does not require you to be self contained (as Kaikoura has different rules for self-contained vehicles). $20 per car. Toilets are free and clean. showers and laundry for a small fee. Nice spot!

Great spot for a good price. You can pay more days in advance so you dont have to worry about looking for a free campsite in Kaikoura (which are filled at 2pm already everywhere..) hot shower 5nzd, cold shower is free, sink for wash your dishes, and we used the restaurant's wifi. Recommend!

A really lovely place. The location is fantastic, right across from the sea and the mountains. At $20 a night without electricity and $25 with, it's well worth it. The people there are friendly, and there are clean toilets and a sink for washing dishes. Showers are not free.

Great spot, very clean toilet and shower, highly recommend

One of the best campsites we’ve stayed at in NZ so far. The 20 NZD fee is absolutely fair (price per vehicle, not per person). Toilets are clean, hot shower is 5 NZD for 5 minutes, and cold shower is free. Checkout time isn’t really enforced — basically, first come, first served. Honestly, instead of worrying about fines in free camps because of toilet placement under the oddly enforced rules here, this campsite is by far the best option in our view. The views on mountains are amazing here!
