Maybe I didn’t do the nicest part of the walk because I wasn’t really thrilled by it. The bit I walked was a nice wide path following the river but on the other side were a few unsightly factories or rusty house fences.

We did this walk. Some locals found a baby eel and were wrestling with it in the path.

It is nice and flat with lovely river views. Start at Cook’s Statue on Waikanae Beach.

We recently found this nice walk. It's an easy walk on a level path, so just about everybody can enjoy it. As the name suggests it's alongside a river so it's really pretty and quite relaxing.
