Go a bit further into town (next to the station/Kiwi Road) & try to throw a gun boot yourself! The gumboot throwing line is there & boots are provided - a lot of fun! ?

The statue itself is ok, but you may also try to throw the gumboot in the Gumboot throwing line, which is located in Huia street next to railway. We had a lot of fun there!
