Great place to park up for a night or two, close to the river. The facilities are nice and clean. Having a restaurant and bar facilities on sight is another bonus to this lovely spot. Lovely, peaceful outlook with plenty of native birds singing in the morning. Depending on the time of year you're visiting but you may also hear "the roar" of the stags.
Really nice campsite. Defo go for the premium option tho. The bar/ cafe was so nice and has great wifi and pool table. Would really recommend on the way down to wellington.
A little more expensive than other sites, but a really nice place to camp your van by the river. Friendly staff and even a little restaurant. The showers and toilets are well kept. Highly recommended. Really nice relaxed atmosphere.
Beautiful campground right beside the river. Cool little cafe attached and very friendly owner. One of the best campsites we visited on our trip.
This was a great campsite with good amenities such as clean toilets/showers, free pool table and a cafe with delicious food (we tried the pizza, smash burger & chicken salad). We did the family rafting which was great for our kids! Even better still they offer massages which both myself & my husband took advantage of as it was excellent! Would def recommend coming here. Thanks for a great stay!
Fantastic place with 360° spectacular scenery and the friendliest staff. Has all you regular facilities and trust me if you have a bad thing to say you need physiological help.
Absolutely beautiful view of the Papa Cliffs. Very nice accommodations and staff. The place is very well kept. A bargain at any price.
Over priced!!!! I have seen better facilities for a lot less than $55 unpowered site. Nothing wrong with it, just sub par. It's clean. Wifi extremely poor coverage. No privacy between sites.
Wow just wow, we parked our self contained camper in an unplugged site for one night. The views were incredible. The bar/cafe/restaurant was gorgeous, we only had a drink and fries but it had a nice atmosphere with an incredible riverside back drop. The next morning we walked down to the river which is 1 minute down and it was an incredible site. The clearest and coldest water. Watching people kayak, it was very peaceful. The bathrooms were clean.
We arrived here from the ferry, tired and hungry and were delighted that they doubled as a pub and restaurant. We had dinner which was very tasty and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely powered site beside the river and would have stayed longer had we the time. There is no dump at this site.
