Awesome, we saw the glowworms and make a picture of it 💪🏼

Was a nice walk to stretch the legs. Took maybe 10 mins to walk to from car park area. Not sure if I wasn't looking in the right area, but did not see any glow worms as stated before. Bring a torch and maybe an extra layer as it's dark and cold in the tunnel.

April 2024 Open and cool. Part of Clutha Gold trail. Slightly wet on downhill side. Glowworms visible when walking away from the sunnier entrance.

Mt Stuart Reserve is a great Picnic spot!! I don't know where to find a tunnel but we had a nice rest in the garden. There is one toilet, picnictables, 40min ValleyTrack and some old sequoia trees. Quiet and worth to stop

Tunnel is still closed, maybe for a long time as no one seems to work on it, wich is a shame because its an awesome visit and you can see hips of glowing worms !!
