Quite nice for a short rest, lots of ducks, correspondingly a lot of droppings… otherwise very well looked after. Nice for strolling, but not hiking.

Beautiful place to pack up. Has flushable toilets, and Hot shower (locked up at 5pm, but has one toilet still available) Lots of walking trails and bird life and playground. Will definitely come back again

Thanks Masterton Council, ? place to stop over, good flat parking on tarseal. Loads of geese, ducks and swans, no trouble. We'll come back. Good toilets and a quick hot shower, very good. FLICCA 67562

Nice place to camp for self contained vehicles. 2 nights max. Toilets and showers onsite although closed at 5pm and open again in morning. Only dump station is at mawbey camp ground not far away. Nice walk around lake. Thanks council great place.

Quiet place to camp. However they just have portable toilet. So many geese.

Nice to stop for lunch or for a bit of rest ! A lot of ducks ?

Very good time for a picnic. Many ducks. There are steps less than 30 minutes to go. Playground for children, corners in the shade. There are barbecues.
