Not very well maintained, ladies drop toilet walls have fallen down/been ripped down. Rubbish surrounding the toilets as well. A few pot holes as you drive in. Was good for the night but wouldn't go back. No wifi signal while here.
Nice, lots of kangaroos. Toilet is an average drop toilet but that’s fine. Nice river, people were fishing in it. Fire pits for each spot. Loads of flies during the day but they calm down during the night. Quiet spot, saw some possums in the evening as well and lots of birds.
Great place, lots of space along the river and good swimming also
A ordinary place to stop. Toilets are dilapidated and not usable in any way. As a result there is toilet paper etc blowing around the camping areas. Campers clearly disrespecting the unsupervised nature of the camp ground. Rubbish left at camp sites. Cable ties left to ring bark trees. Illegal use of snag timber and fallen trees for fire wood.
Fabulous spot! We were the only people here and took our van down to the river. We had a 4wd car and were self contained. Lots of fire pits and great shaded sites.
Lovely quiet spot with plenty of shade. Only downside is the toilets don’t have any doors!
Delightful camping spot with basic facilities. Only one night but half a dozen other campers. Nice shaded river campsites. Road from Crookwell still has some dirt and (illegal) large semis coughing out the dust.... Careful! It is a bush track with lots of windy bits and steep narrow sections-manageable if care taken.
We stayed here one night. Its a lovely camping area. There were 4WDs and caravans here. The tracks down toward the river should be assessed on foot before you commit. This area is probably best for the self contained camping person but certainly can accommodate any type of camping person.
