Nice quiet place to pull in off the Golden Highway and stay a night or 2. Telstra phone service. Basic but clean long drop dunny. Rainwater to bathroom for hand washing. If you just want a day or two to catch your breath, read a book or just stay still this is a nice spot to do it. Fresh air, trees and birds.

We had a fantastic time staying at this free camp for one night. The toilets are rough as guts but don't let that deter you. A new large covered area has been constructed recently, providing a massive area of shade and shelter from rain. We rode out a storm under the cover and stayed mostly dry, fitting two cars and three swags underneath with heaps of room to spare. There is also a freshwater tank.

The toilet may be a rusted out 44 gallon drum, but it's the most charming campsite in 1000 clicks.
