Very nice location, therefore also quite popular. Public toilets and running water are available nearby. Suitable for travelers passing through.
There are some taps here to fill up caravans. Nice spot by the river.
Beautiful free camp with bins and dump point. Playground, toilets and a cafe 400m down the road and easy walk into town. 15-20 vans overnight on a Tuesday night but plenty of space. A few muddy spots to look out for but beautiful by the river and lovely path to walk or ride along with lights at night.
Lovely spot by the lake that you can walk around. Was Saturday night a bit of noise from bowls club but not bothersome, was quiet after 9.30. Would definitely stay again. Public toilets down the road with a dump point
Nice spot by the lake. Toilets about 300m along the lake bank. A little noisy being close to town, but nothing too bad.
Good shady area close to town. Suitable for fully self contained camping only. Popular walking area for locals. Rubbish bins only.
Perfect! Such a pretty camp site. Shady, level and right by the river. Easy walk to Motor museum which was worth a visit. Looks like you could walk across the bridge into town easily too.
As it is stipulated on the site, no water or electricity, however there is quite a bit of space and the place is super nice! we came to sleep one evening when there was a lot of rain and we weren't bothered that much! good adventure to you :)
Loved this spot, many thanks to Forbes for having this free camp right on the river, Lots of shade, plenty of space, no amenities, dump point with a tap and hose, plenty of walking paths, few playground around town and an outdoor exercise gym, wasn't too busy when I started. Lovely town too.
RV dump has relocated here.
