This is actually about 1km north of the town centre. If you just type Clarence Way into your GPS app you’ll end up in the centre of town and will attract the attention of curious locals wondering why on earth anyone is wandering around lost in their tiny village. Pictorial signs on the main road will direct you there. Lovely little rest area with clean toilets, 4 undercover picnic tables & stunning views of the countryside. It’s small but given the remote location, big enough - I was alone there when I stayed. From the name I thought it might be next to some historical theme park, but no - just a roadside rest area next to the “main” road - but not much traffic. Highly recommended. Beautiful area all round!

Beautiful place to stay one night! Toilets were ok (drop toilet) and lots of spaces. We were woke up by cows swimming at the nearby river
