This camp spot is definitely a go too! Large grassed area, some beautiful water view spots. Be prepared for an early feathered friend alarm clock! Cockatoos playful and fun in the arvo. Pyrite sparkling sand bank on the beach. Clean flushing toilet byo toilet paper, too easy. Few permanents but friendly and keep to themselves. KW
Stunning campsite with loads of space for vans and tents. Very clean flushing toilet
Great little spot for a night. Here on a Friday in February- few locals around who left at dusk, couple permanents, and a load of caravans. Nice and spread out, we didn’t have anyone close by us. Cockatoos were beautiful in the evening and morning. Nice green grass, flush toilet (only one, byo toilet paper), few muddy bits. Overall great. Definitely recommend over the free camp closer to Wagga Wagga.
Beautiful site tucked away nicely with plenty of spots to pitch up and keep to yourself. Yes there are birds there, and yes they can be noisy but it adds to the ambience. We loved our stay and wish we could stay again but sadly as we on a road trip up the country we won't be back at least not this trip!
Love this spot!! Big open grass area, flushing clean toilet (thank you to the volunteer that keeps it clean and stocked) good little sand landing spot for a swim or just a laze with a bevy Keeps me coming back when in the area
This place doesn't actually have a bbq, just a place where you can make a fire. It also has loads of very noisy cockatoos, but there's lots of space and right by the river, very nice location just out of Wagga.
BEAUTIFUL SPOT ???
Amazing campsite! Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! It’s massive with lots of different camping spots right on the river! Walked down the hill right where my car and tent was and sat in the water watching the cockatoos and boats go by! Only problem was the cockatoos of an evening and early morning are VERY VERY loud! ?
Beautiful location. Can swim in the river. Even has flushing toilets!
Everything beautiful!!! But birds... Omg the birds... The wouldn’t shut up all night long....
