Campsite under renovation but the owner (very kind) showed us a safe place for the night. It was perfect

The place has been bought 6 weeks ago and the new owner is renovating the pub. He is very happy to host travelers on the small field behind the pub (the bathroom is not ready yet but the toilets can be used), the bar is available during opening hours and the kitchen should open in a few weeks. In one or two months this place will be a great country club with its camp site.

Nice place to stop for the night. Shirley was very helpful.

Friendly hotel owners in the bar made us feel very welcome. Will be nicely shaded in the summer months. Worth a ten minute drive off the main road for this tranquil spot.
