Good enough. There are toilets and Telstra reception/internet
Good place to stay! Toilets were good and there was enough toilet paper. No cell reception though as another comment had mentioned… I arrived at 7PM and got the last spot, so be aware of that
Good place to stop for the evening. Off the road with plenty of space for several campers. Great sunrise in the mornings. Picnic areas, bins, toilets (although didn’t use), water not working. Road noise in the evening from passing traffic. Felt safe & well rested in the morning. Telstra reception.
Only positive is that I had Telstra connection. If you don’t have to leave your vehicle this is a fine place to stop. However I was swarmed by flies immediately after leaving the cabin of my van whenever the sun was up and the second it went down hundreds of mosquitoes were trying to get in. The tiny ones could fit through the netted windows so I had to sit in the hot dark with the lights off and my windows sealed. Not an issue if you have air con. Didn’t use the toilets. Probably gross.
1.5kms south of the roadside rest stop is a gravel pit with a few cleared areas to park up at. Fire rings set up in some areas. Still road noise but you are further off the road on red dirt, flat areas!
Small rest area and it was almost full when we arrived before sunset. A bit noisy but ok for one night.
Small rest area. Toilets, picnic table and bins are provided. Make sure to arrive early as we didn’t find any space.
This is a great spot to stop over, toilet was gross but we didn’t have to use it. No water in the tank on the 11/7/22 Lovely covered area to have a happy hour. Would recommend
Stopped here to use the toilet around 830am. There were still quite a few campers there and I imagine it gets full very fast. It’s a small area but well maintained and toilets were clean and there was rainwater available. Very close to the highway.
Quite a few flies, busy quickly. Loud as one would expect. Cars came to park around midnight. Not very reassuring. Toilet ok
