5 star, Fully self contained vehicles, large level sealed bitumen area beside the road, 30 minute drive to the rock, another free spot a few k’s further on which is good but not sealed. Both areas quiet & safe.
Free overnight accommodation about 40 minutes from Uluru. Trash cans and an SOS phone are available. The night was very quiet. A walk up the sand dune offers a beautiful view of Uluru. No Telstra signal.
Best free spot near Uluru. Looks for 4WD tracks to take further off the road to camp on the sand.
Ideal for an overnight stay. Starry night viewing. Very little road noise. A TPH reception point. Beautiful views of Uluru.
War okay für eine Nacht. Ist direkt neben der Straße, aber es gibt kaum Verkehr in der Nacht.
Not a bad little spot off the highway, sure cars are passing but it’s not too busy. Plenty of bins and 2 tables one undercover Water tank not for drinking.
Camped here a few days ago. It is what it is, just a basic rest area for you to set camp for the night. Dont expect anything else. I enjoyed camping here more because the light pollution was really low and the night skies are a treat Insta: iamkaysavan
Stayed here for 2 nights and didn’t have any issue. Very little traffic on the road in the evenings so really easy to sleep. No bathroom available but the public bathroom in Yulara was open both evenings we were there (about 9pm). After watching the sunset at Uluru, we just popped there, brushed our teeth etc and then went down to the camp spot.
Nice spot, was busy when we were there, but very quiet at night. Beautiful view, felt safe.
Nice place to sleep nearly Uluru
