Perfect spot!!! Lots of space on the parking lot and if there isn’t more space, then there is a grass area, and there is two playgrounds
Great spot to R@R on your travels. Stayed two nights was quite and respectful amongst the RVs and caravans but had two groups opposite end of camp that obviously has been there for way more than the mandatory time limit and were very noisy with loud music and barking dogs.
Am staying there right now 20/9/25 and it's Saturday night and music is playing from town. Also there people swearing and loud at the park across the road. Will only be staying one night.
Stayed there one night. You have public toilets 150m that are pretty clean. If you park in the campground area you also get the wifi signal from the library, full of other campers and caravans so felt safe :)
Not bad for an overnight stay. Has a Dump Point and Public Toilets close by. Trains can wake you several times throughout the night.
Great free camp, but we arrived at about 6pm on a Monday night and it was already super full! So maybe aim to get there a bit earlier.
Doesn't seem to be a limit on how long you can stay anymore, I spoke to a few people who had been there over a week, I stayed 4 nights. In the bitumised parking area there are bins, water and a dump point, there is also a secondary grassed area that just has bins but you can pick up the libraries wifi from there. Public toilets close by which are cleaned daily, along with kids play areas and electric bbq. Be prepared for the garbage bins being emptied in the early hours of the morning
Very nice and quiet free camp site, clean toilet bbq, super market and bottle shop nearby. Would highly recommend
Excellent free campsite, the bathrooms are public ones which are used for the whole little t
Excellent free site in a seemingly very camper friendly town. Toilets nearby, extra grassy site just down the road. No trouble at all. There is a bbq in the small park opposite also.
