Stayed a few night here really nice place bring plenty of water and fire wood.
We spent nearly two ours on the gravelroad to get there i our 2WD. Beautiful place, but I will definitly recommend using a 4WD
Beautiful place, quite spacious. Absolutely accessible with 2WD, road got an upgrade. But signs everywhere about crocs, no swimming possible.
A fair drive on the dirt road to get there. But we got there in our holden Astra. Nice quiet place beautiful beach front views. Only a toilet near the boat ramp that is a dump hole toilet. No water so make sure your stocked up. We went at the wrong time for fishing as was way to windy. Overall a nice quiet place to stay for a few nights to regenerate your body.
Long road in with corrigations, some bits worse than others. Got in with a 2wd hiace van pretty easily just drive to the conditions. Good spot would be better if you had a boat to explore further. Quite a few spots left midday on a saturday!
Good spot to fish and that's it. 1h30 of dirt road from A1, no water, full of people. There is a patrol station but it's quite expensive... Fair enough :)
Still close!!!!
Every Campspot in Standage is Closed!
Short stays only. No Water or firewood available. Drop toilet at Boat ramp. Road very corrugated and rough at times. Saw plenty of busted tyres on the way in. Plenty of cows and kangaroos to dodge. Allow AT LEAST 1 ½ to drive the 80ks. As at May 2019 boat ramp upgrade with only one lane in use and limited trailer parking. Tipper Trucks travelling through town every 20min. Lady at the only general store/takeaway/pub was rude so take what you need for your time there. Fishing like everywhere is hit and miss. The boat ramp is tidal with launch and retrieval 2 ½ hrs top and bottom of tide. 2019 - July - army exercises in town also
