Gorgeous free camp - a bit tricky to get to with lots of gravel roads and puddles, but it’s definitely accessible by 4WD at the moment. Lots of space once you’re there.

Beautiful free camp. Went there about a week ago. Be careful on the way to the camp, definitely 4WD only and the puddles can be treacherous if you don’t take them in the right spot but good recovery gear will always solve the problem. On pebbles near the river.

Can’t get to this spot at the moment as there is a huge puddle (about waist deep). We made the mistake of trying to drive through, didn’t go so well :p

Beautiful, private, open place. I got down no dramas in my ford escape. Coming back up I def had to be careful and needed my awd engaged as there are some deep ruts in the short hill that could damage a not-high-clearance car like mine.

Fantastic spot, beautiful place to watch the stars, have some privacy and hear some wildlife. We were in a camper van and managed to get down the gravel road and then park on the grassy mound before the large descending road (you would Definitley need a Four wheeled drive for that). If you can stay here and get your water, cold shower, amenities from the site a minute up the road it is definitely worth it.

Expect nothing, then it's great. We were the only ones there, very peaceful. Great spot to sit and fish and watch the stars.

First night here tonight. Beautiful spot, even better we are able to camp with our fur babies. Nice wind blowing all day. Fish jumping alot out of the creek. Really happy with the choice. No amenities or drinking water but there is a rest area 5mins away with toilet, shower and drinking water.

Only 4wheel drives.

Great Spot, only 5 minutes off the highway ! We camped on a small grassy patch 2 metres from the rivers edge. The water is fresh and clean, with fish jumping around the whole time we were there. Will definitely stay there again ??
