Very nice place lovely people. But counsel has filed off the drinking water tap by the pool corner. Lucky for us some of the locals gave us drinking water. Rubyvale pub excellent deals on dinners. Value for money. We went fossicking with a company called fasanation. We found enough sapphires to make two weddings for our wedding. We learnt the old timers way to do everything. It was an amazing experience. We didn't expect to find such a treasure trove of sapphires form yellow,green,blue..

Quiet spot with enough space for at least a dozen large caravans. Ground is stubbornly rocky, difficult to pitch a tent, but manageable. Minimal shade in most places. Bathrooms in good condition, with multiple power outlets. Portable wifi/charging station was broken, but had excellent cell service throughout.

Good place to stop, Cold showers available for admission price of town pool on the grounds. Dump site and fresh water available at a low price. Close to main shop (only open a couple of hours Wed to Sat), caravan park shop next door with servo ect.

Awesome 48hr parking spot with a pool and showers beside it for 2$ per person. Also there is a drinking water tap 10cents/20L and a general store across the road

Large area, clean toilets, calm and away from the main road.
