Very close to the road, very noisy, especially in the morning, outdated sanitary facilities
Water flowing out of men's toilet block no soap no hand dryer or paper towel. Would have stayed behind pub no longer able to as owner owns caravan park as well.
Very nice place where we stopped on our way East to Charter Towers. Confirming all the positive comments! It is close to the road but not a problem as very little traffic!
Lovely little park very friendly staff amenities very clean we were in a camper trailer and it was raining lucky for us it had a camp kitchen we used that to have a couple of drinks and cooked dinner would highly recommend
Good place to spend the night. Very good price for powered site $25, clean bathrooms and very good hot shower. Very friendly manager. I recommend it
New owners 2023. The park is under renovations. Check in at Pentland Hotel. There is train and highway noise but that is to be expected beside main highway and train tracks. $25 powered, $15 unpowered. Plenty to see on the history wall at the hotel 200 metres from the caravan park. Happy hour between 5pm & 6pm daily with meals from 10am to 8pm. 7 days.
Only $15 per night! Very okay for the price. Showers and toilets were in good condition and there was hot water. Not particularly modern but okay. The washing machine was old and broken. So if you have to do laundry, it's better to go somewhere else. There is a small pool and there are lots of birds to watch on site in the evenings.
One for the nature lovers. Stayed here on the 11th of November, got here just after sunset and just needed a place to stay. Nice lady and reception. However loads of ants on every site, bats through the trees at night and plenty of spiders and frogs in the toilets to keep you company. Wouldn’t recommend
Stayed here as we were really hungover and needed to just stop somewhere. $18 unpowered for 2 ppl. Lady at reception was lovely. Didn’t use the camp kitchen but it looked quite tired like the toilets/showers were but they were really clean and showers hot so wasn’t bothered tbh and for what we paid I thought it was fine. Other campers never spoke and place didn’t really have a atmosphere it was quite eerie.
Nice campsite with friendly staff. Very green and looked after. Toilets modern but could do with mosquito nets as there are allot here. $22 for 2 people powered site. Can't complain at that price!
