Pleasant free camp. By the wayside. There are (clean) toilets. Perfect for one night.

Stayed in the separate gravel area mentioned below. Path is visible just across from the main rest stop. Very big, flat, open gravel area with no good shade but surrounded by bush. There was a good bit of water at the edges from recent rain and some big pools blocking off the section further away from the road but it is still accessible by 4x4. Had the place to myself but there are a few old firepits around from previous campers. Road noise can still be heard nearby but you can just move further back into the area. The way in could be a tight squeeze for bigger rigs as some twiggy branches hang over the path but it should be fine

Great spot for an overnighter. As mentionned by others, its quite noisy because of the roadtrains and trucks idling during the night. Would recommend 7/10

Excellent place by the road table clean toilet trash a bit of tree. Far from everything on the other hand during our passage NO MAUDITE FLY I RECOMMEND A 5/10

On the other side of the road from the rest stop there is a track that leads to a gravel pit and a lovely flat area suitable for all rigs. Must be self contained. There are two areas with the second area quieter than the one closest to the road
