We spent a night down there it was superb the toilets are clean! a resting stop, almost no 4g

Frills free stop. Toilets and lots of room. You get traffic and road noise. Don’t pay any attention to the comment below about it not being free and ‘new owners’. Totally wrong and irrelevant. It’s not a privately owned so they must have been talking about somewhere else.

- just stopped for a rest but place looks good. Picnic benches, toilets and lots of space to park. Right next to road so might be loud at night but good free spot with 20 hour max stay.

New Owners, lovely guys. But No more free camping, but caravan park down the road.

Fine as a rest stop. Toilets pretty grungy. Didn't hear any trains until 4.30am. Probably better if you're SC but there were a lot of unnerving rustles and things that sounded like footsteps in a tent... Friendly birds though haha and a huge mango tree.

O.K. For over night ladies toilets need a lot of repairs.

Was nice but for the trains that went past every two hours all night. And the dry riverbed it would be great when it had water very pretty then.

What a nice surprise ! Plenty of space, picnic tables, bins, a water tank and a real toilet block with flush toilets. Lovely colored birds. Best free camp on this road
