Fantastic large camp space with plenty of sites..highly recommend. We stayed 2 nights ..will definitely be back.
Stayed here on Father's Day. Very windy, but good test for our camper. Beautiful spot, nice and quiet. Have a wander and admire the huge trees...Wow. Absolutely NO phone service.....brilliant
Lovely place to stay! We were doing an overnight stop on our way north but being Easter weekend there were quite a number of people camping for a few nights. Still reasonably peaceful though, certainly worth the extra few minutes drive for no road noise! I’d imagine it would be very quiet on a normal weekend but still lots of space to camp even on a busy holiday weekend. Creek is pretty and so many birds to wake you up in the morning!
We loved this camping spot. Lovely creek and so many beautiful giant old gum trees. It was super peaceful with heaps of camping places. We will definitely be going back.
Great place to camp for a couple of nights. Very peaceful nice walks. Good fire pits. (Take own wood.) Some tables. Drop toilets. (Take own toilet paper)
Nice spot... Quiet. Not sure if it is because of season (well, December) but there is a lot of flies.. Like a LOT. Arrived at dusk. Lot of wildlife, some huntsmans waiting on toilet seat... ? anyway, nice stopover.
Great campsite with lots of space. No facilities, other than a drop toilet, but great for tents and vans.
This hideaway treasure is beautiful, plenty of spaces, peaceful, friendly other campers sitting around open fire with glass of wine. Only 24kms from historic township of Burra. The beautiful gum tress are years old and very magical. Free camping at its best. Long drop toilets, also bins to off load rubbish. Congratulations to those who look after this location, well done, you deserve a medal.
Very busy during major Holiday's, aside from that it was a beautiful spot. Make sure you have supplies
