Relatively expensive camping spot. Spacious. Nothing available except a toilet. Beautiful surroundings. The walk to the river is well signposted. I was here on a weekend in November. All pitches were occupied.

A very expensive national park, $36 per night, sloping bare sites, no privacy, one toilet and a short walk down to a very overgrown gorge and creek. KPJ

Quiet, secluded and well stocked. Relatively cheap base to explore Mclaren Vale from

Quiet and beautiful. No road noise, only the sound of birds and sheep in the distance. There are walks from the campsite. No national park fee required but you have to book online at parks. Sa. Gov. Au its $16 per vehicle, bargain! There is one flush toilet which was clean but no soap and no drinking water so bring your own. Loved the peaceful atmosphere. We saw a couple of kangaroos jump by our campsite in the morning.
