Just an ordinary rest area, but with the added perk of decent cell service. Close to the highway, but the noise is muffled since you’re on a small ridge above the traffic. A bit wind-exposed, though…

Great overnighter!! Fantastic views and sunset and sunrise was beautiful. Large flat gravel area. Worth a stop if you are needing one. The best stop over between Woomera and CP. ???? BW

Worthwhile stopping overnight for stunning 360 degree view of uninterrupted skyline at sunset and sunrise. Large flat gravel area and smaller gravel spots at lower level so fine for camping. Not much traffic during night and not many flies.

Great little spot for an overnight rest, some road noise but didn’t interrupt our sleep. A night under the stars in the outback... And free! Perfect!

We found the spot good for camping, yes there are some road noise from the road trains as they are changing gears going up the hill. If your a light sleeper probably not the greatest spot. We stayed on a Friday night so not much traffic due to end of the week.

The track is 300 metres long , not 300 metres off the road It is about 100 metres off the highway, but you can camp further from the road. It is ok for overnight stop.

We are really bad sleepers and we could still hear some noises from the highway. I'm sure that most people would sleep through it, but we could still hear some.
