Nice and wide rest area. It is near the main road but on an elevated area so it stays fairly quite in the night. Good Telstra coverage

Beautiful spot wth very nice view but it was too windy to stay here in our rooftop tent unfortunately.

great spot, watched the sun set as the moon rose. Peaceful apart for the odd truck passing. Only 10km out of Hawker. No facilities except a bin so only suitable for sc vehicles

To windy today to camp. It is at the top of two valley's. Nice views

Lovely sunset. Not much room as trucks like to stop here too. A bit of noise but not too bad. Flies are quite bad.

Good views around, very exposed to the wind - was one rubbish bin tho - few trucks at night but what can you expect easy enough to go into flinders bit overcast but sunsets behind the mountain.

Lovely spot before or after the Flinders Range. No toilets! Amazing view.

Camping ok but too many flies!! Really hard to appreciate the sunset, we stayed most of the time inside the vehicle.

Free camping near Hawker. Good way to visit the Flinders Ranges NP. No toilet. No shower. Just an area on the side of the road to park and sleep. Very little traffic in the Outback so little disturbing. Very nice place to admire the sunset and the sunrise.

Amazing free campsite. Beautiful sunset, sunrise and stargazing. Only drawback is proximity to the road, however there was barely any traffic
