The campsite is closed for renovations. Hotel partly open but also being renovated.
Closed and so was the hotel (Tues & Wed). Chain across the entrance not sure if just for Covid-19 as there is no notice.
Nice spot to camp. The view is spectacular! Showers are hot and clean but really basic. Kitchen also pretty basic and Don’t forget to bring a fly screen! There are flies EVERYWHERE!
Very disappointed. Turned up as the sun was setting to be told that the pub and camping had closed today for the season (even though there were about 5 cars outside)and we wouldn’t be able to stay. We were more than happy to pay and we weren’t after any facilities at all. Just an area to camp with signal, as we needed to contact home after having trouble with our car that day. Even after explaining this they were very little help, did not recommend any other places or offer any advice.
Clean and tidy facilities, $10.50 per adult and $5.50 a child, no camp kitchen as such but there is a BBQ. It is a community camp ground (the old school) and is payable at the Prairie Hotel - famous for there feral food, good idea to book as they can get busy. No power but the Hotel as there own limited number of powered sites.
If you don't stay in the Hotel, you can get a shower for $ 5,- per Person!! Hot water, nice and clean!! 28/04/2017
