What a beautiful place 🥰 Immersed within a forest but plenty of light. Large area with good possibilities to have privacy. Toilets obviously unmaintained. Arriving from both directions via gravel roads. No signal.

The view is beautiful! Loads of animals on the way and camp. No toilet paper or water, be prepared. But all worth it!

As previously mentioned there is gravel road to this free camp. But you will see lots of wildlife along the way and, because you are in the Central Highlands, lovely vegetation and a scenic drive. Toilets are great and few campers. About 8 degree colder up there!

We were the only ones there and we had a great time. Fire pits are there and there are drop toilets with no toilet paper so make sure to bring your own. The place is free to stay and has beautiful views of the lake. There were a lot of pot holes on the drive up and about 25km of gravel roads.

New toilet block has been built. New signage indicates NO FIRES. Water not suitable to drink even after boiling. Bush setting with spacious sites. Gets extremely cold and frosty.

A really nice Free site (not sure why its listed as a low cost campground) the fishing in the lake is currently closed due to the carp in the lake. The toilets have been vandalised and are unusuable. Bring your own shovel and dig a hole if youre not self contained as you will not want to use the toilets. Do NOT litter this place. Take rubbish with you. There are no bins. Bury your waste. There is no phone reception here and its 30 kms of dirt road. This is not a luxury resort and therefore the site is basic. However, there is flora and fauna to be explored. It does get cold, bring plenty of supplies and lots of warmth. Plenty of grassed areas to set up a tent and lots of space in between for other campers. Fires can be made here in the existing fire pits. There is tank water.

This a fantastic bush campsite with basic facilities including a drop toilet and tank water available probably not suitable for drinking. Many sites available with many having allocated spots for a campfire. Very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend.
