Stayed 1 night, close to town and the site is flat and clean. Available toilets and shower onsite for $20, and then you get a refund of $10 when you take the key back (we didn’t use this facility).
Was nice and quiet. You need to arrive by 6pm to reach out to the appropriate person to access the shower and toilets. There are 24/7 public toilets behind the town hall. Approx 200m away. We snagged a free shower at the mood foods - 5 minute drive away. Free power connection with a donation box to contribute to the free service.
Nice little spot to stay for a night, toilets & shower available but have to pay for them. There are public toilets available down the road though, so easy to access. Cute little playground next door and a few places to sit outdoors (good for summer - not right now in the winter!) the BBQs don’t work which is a shame. Great little spot to stop over at
Nice place in a quiet town. Bit noise because of the traffic in highway but it was ok. We enjoy some beers in Huntington Tavern (5min walking). Toilets on campground were open during night but closed in the morning.
Nice quite Little town after a a day on the road only place before Hobart to free camp but donate if you connect to power if you want a coffee there is a young lady in a food van at the recreation area in town say hi and tell her Fred sent you
Nice and quiet with 6 free (donation box) outlets for camper power. Water is very accessible and dump point over the road is spacious and easy to manoeuvre into.
Quiet spot with lots of space. Next to the playground which is handy for families with young children. Donation box (honesty system) on how much you would pay to stay. Good to give something back to keep this site going.
A flat area with powered sites for 6 vehicles. Some seemed confused by signs saying 'one van per power point' thinking the position was full but each post has 2 power points so can accommodate 2 vans The toilets and shower seem permanently locked, and we saw no one offering a key. The public toilets across the road are usable at best.. but better than nothing. Power is by donation so we were happy to poke $10 in the box to help support the sites upkeep and perhaps help future manning.
Lovely spot to stay the night. There’s drinking water and the public toilets are only a short walk away.
