Lovely free camp right on the water, basic but good. Has drop toilet, no shower, no water so BYO and spotty phone reception
Plenty of space for all types of camping. Tent or large camper everything finds a place here. There are two toilets, nothing else but it is quiet here even though it is right next to the road. There is also another free parking space, just follow the road to the end then right into Russell Drive and to the end of the tar road, the space is then on the right, but there is no toilet there, so only for self-catering
Remote free basic camping. Few minutes from the bay. Not very touristy, arrived around 5pm during Xmas holiday and found a spot easily. Recommend doing the Forrester kangaroo drive in the morning or evening (10 mn away from camp). Wildlife in the camp as quite remote and quiet.
Very quiet and remote, only drop loos. Flat camping area close to road but no cars at night. 2min from beach. BYO everything and take everything with you, no bins or sinks. Basic free campsite.
A wonderful free grass campground with each access. You can enjoy the time in Musselroe Bay, a little villiage at this campground. The toilet is not too bad and you can see nice birds in the area. Enjoyable.
Nice quiet spot away from the all the tourists
Absolutely beautiful site and beach. We camped but the ground has spiked reed like grass so take plenty to lay on. Stunning sunsets. No shops nearby nearest is a general store in Gladstone. Unsealed road to the site but ok for all vehicles. Lots of wildlife.
