Campsite pricey, but worth it being next to visitor centre of Mount Cradle, you can hop on the bus in 10 minutes. Facilities were great, clean and free showers with a heated floor, very nice! The kampkitchen even had sofa's in it. There is Wifi (most of the time) and a little shop at the reception.
Great facilities. Excellent Camp kitchen with warm fires. Even had heated floors in the bathrooms which was absolutely necessary because it snowed on us. It's a little bit pricey but that is to be expected. We paid $75 for a camper van in a powered site.
Excellent facilities, heated showered & kitchen areas. Really snug & welcome if you’ve been on hikes. Efficient laundry $5 huge load & $5 dried everything incl towels. One kitchen didn’t have large plates, saucepans, & pans but the other had more. WiFi and phone reception all good. Well stocked Shop. $78 however for campervan 7m powered site. Walking distance to Cradle Mtn visitor centre & their friendly helpful staff Also to recommend the Devils@Cradle sanctuary tour Tasmanian Devils &Quolls
$58 (plus card fee) for a powered site - but this is Cradle Mountain Helpful staff and well stocked shop Clean and warm kitchen, toilets and showers Decent WiFi Visitor centre 10 mins walk away Lots of new cabin building work ongoing on site while we were there
Best campground of our trip. People are nice, location is great walking distance to the shuffle bus, toilets are clean (and heated! That is glamping 😉), kitchen is pretty good too. Only negative point will be the price that is pretty high.
Amazing location, right across from the Visitors Centre. Huge park, one of the largest we visited in Tasmania. Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities and camp kitchen. There was even a pizza oven! Pademelons & Wallabies came around the site at night. Showerers were hot, toilets & kitchen were heated. Definitely coming back again.
$74 for an unpowered site. There was nothing else. The shower block and the kitchen are brand new, it was 3 degrees at night so we were happy to stay in the heated kitchen/living room for the evening.
We had a nice secluded spot surrounded by trees/bush and a picnic table, there is a huge clean kitchen and clean hot showers without timer. It was busy but not crowded. We had a powered site, the smallest one which fitted our big rv easy. The big premium sites are closer to the the showers, but also very open and not really cosy or privat feeling. Besides that, it is superclose to the entrances of cradle mountain and restaurants.
Location ia right opposite the visitor Center. Great Camp kitchen with fireplace Inside very cosy. Just our RV Spot was a Bit hard to Park in, many Cut trees. Each sit has their own worden Camping table which was nice. Coin laundry 5$ was fine.
Paid $65 for a “Premium Powered Site” that was on uneven ground. Shower facilities are so clean as well as the toilets!! Water pressure in the showers is terrible, but the water is super hot. Laundry facilities are great, except a little expensive.
