Lovely big open spot with lots of space. No phone signal and some quirky but seemingly friendly permanent residents. We got ‘the hills have eyes’ vibes so left..

A great open area in the bush a shirt drive from Dunolly and rich gold-rush history. It was quiet and easy to find a level space despite arriving late in the afternoon. Our timing unfortunately coincided with a change of weather that brought out thousands of flying ants seeking our lights. We’re sure that was a rare event and would stop here again. BTW, there is a very interesting story about the grave. That is located just outside the local cemetery! :-) WAK

Brilliant place to camp. Flat areas. Drop loo. Water. Lots of detecting areas within walking distance.

Great bushcamp. Plenty of room, long drop toilets, rubbish bins. Bring your own water and firewood. Very relaxed and social camp with friendly prospectors coming and going, always someone around to have-a-chat.
