Lovely little campsite, stayed for 1 night, easily accessible drop toilet, nice half an hour hike to the waterfall, camp fire and picnic bench. Only downside was there was only 3/4 spots. 1 out of the 2 of us had phone signal.
The road to get there is way more beautiful than the campground itself. You must park in the parking area and carry your camping gear to the sites (not far but you can't pitch a tent next to your car). You can skip the waterfall, nothing special. Currently the toilet was clean with plenty of toilet paper.
They have 5 sections were you can set up tents. Not suitable for caravans. Maybe campervans can stop in the carpark. Lovely waterfall close bye. Most roads accessible by 4wd but one road by 2wd( AllTrails app) kylamna falls hike. Toilets are very dirty so didn’t stay overnight. No phonesignal anywere(Telstra) Currently allot of roads are closed cause of the recent fires.
we would have really liked to spend the night here. When we were almost there, we saw that a small river was crossing the road, so we could no longer pass with our camper. unfortunately I didn't make it to the campsite, but if you have a strong car, I think it is definitely recommended. the area was beautiful!
Beautiful free campground. Drop toilets were disgustingly dirty though. The dirtiest we’ve seen in 9 weeks of free camping. The walk to the falls at the back of the campground were absolutely beautiful, we camped here in our car with a rooftop tent perfectly fine. Additionally no bins, Vodafone signal or drinkable water. There is water for hand washing though that’s from a tank ?
Beautiful free campground surrounded by greenery. 5 flat campgrounds available on first come first serve basis. Everyone made their individual fire that night. Plenty of parking area. Had some people setup their self contained vehicles in the parking area. Drop toilet available. 1.5 km easy walk to waterfall. A nice creek passes by common picnic tables and fire pit. Road to here was a bit challenging and depends on weather but I could make it with my 27 feet RV. Unfiltered water available. No shower.
One of the must beautiful spot we had camping we had the whole place for ourselves !!!
Road construction has been closed.
Great camp is just 30 minutes away with poor road conditions and the speed can only be 30km per hour but it is generally good
