Nice campsite (some have drop toilets, some don’t). Right on the beach with easy access, was quiet when we were there. Has a little bit of phone signal in some areas.

There are many different campgrounds. We started at C19 but then moved on to C18 because it had a pit toilet. We stayed one night. It was just us and one other family. The other family said it gets very crowded and difficult to find a spot around Christmas and New Year's. We thought the place was okay, although there were mosquitoes and lots of flies.

We spontaneously drove to campsite C1 and were very satisfied. The beach is right next door and there is also a small, well-maintained toilet (without water). The only problem was the many mosquitoes, which disappeared after using mosquito spray

This is the worst place I have ever camped because of the mosquitos and flies. The only relief I got was when I went to the beach and / or closed my camper doors and dealt with the 20+ mosquitoes that were already inside. Horrid and relentless. Note I was there November 2020, (just remembering the experience now).

19 different camps with varying numbers of sites in each. Not all suitable for campervans. Great access to 90 mile beach. The comments about mosquitoes are spot on. There are so many, & they are massive! However, you can have campfires (except on total fire ban days) and the smoke is enough to keep them away. Bring firewood. Not all have toilets.

Fantastic spot right near the beach. Drop toilets are a bit disgusting but I’ve seen worse. Usually plenty of spots available if you arrive early to mid arvo

This would be an amazing camping experience free sheltered of the road and walking distance to the beach however the mosquitoes were unbearable. I’m unsure if it changes through out the year but we drove in and decided to leave as we couldn’t even manage to pitch our tent let alone cook. But maybe there is less at a different time of year. C5 has toilets.

Who ever wrote the Comment on 06/oct/2019, Not exactly sure what the complaints were about. Except for one. There are 19 campsite areas along shoreline drive. At least 10 of those have toilets. As of now sep/2020 However the mosquito situation is still current in some areas. One area would be campsite 5 and 6. So we moved to another site after sunset To Campsite 3 and it had less to no mosquitoes. We drove the next morning all the way to campsite 19 which I think is around or a bit over 25km down shoreline drive. From what we saw, we toilet facilities at most sites, some rubbish on a couple sites. And maybe two areas of all 19 campsites had what looked to be locals but they most certainly did not have any form of defence against travellers as described in the comment made on October 6th 2019. If you have a 4x4 there are some beach access drives to get o to the beach. If you’re a smoker, keep your cigarette butts, please, for the love of OUR environment which is what we depend on. Especially the ocean. If you’re a drinker, don’t put your empties on the fire Pitts. There is not a house keeping service the next morning. And most of all, this goes to the disgraceful individual making comments about accelerating to hit wildlife on the roads, to avoid damaging your vehicle. There are kangaroos and rabbits around. Be careful. It’s 60km an hour on the road. The sites are on the beach, take your rubbish and any rubbish that you see. Have a good one. Camps are permitted now (stage 3 covid esse of restrictions in regional Victoria allow camping now as of 17/10/2020)

Don't quite understand the positive reviews over here.. Yes C5 is the only site with a toilet and it's OK. But the place isn't so lovely as it appears on the map. In fact it's a long road with trees on both sides of the road. You can't see the sea from the campsites. There are 400.0000 mozzies attacking you all day long even in direct sunlight. But the main irritation; there are profiteers of society, placing their tents, caravans and cars everywhere and sticking poles into the free places to make sure nobody parks around them. They have placed electrical cables everywhere and hang lamps on the only toilet there js. You get the feeling that you are not allowed to use it because they have appropriated it. Each tree has a sack/plastic bag to mark "their" environment, which is virtually the entire site.
