Couple of people but nothing to much, grown was a bit uneven in some spots for tents but otherwise a beautiful spot Has drop toilets and trail walks
It truly is a beautiful place. Shame about the overcrowding and loud music. Strictly states no amplified music, yet the opposite happens. Needs a limit of cars and tent sites allocated to the site. Just becomes tent city.
So many people here on a Sunday. Looks like it would be great.
Leeches from the camp site and huge ants, if you have kids, please take really good care of them. Saw a little girl got bitten by the ants. Site is beautiful with grasses. Big open space, if you don’t mind about the privacy. Toilets are in reasonable condition, lots of flies
Nice and clean surrounding. Multiple benches and fire places. Two toilets but bit smelly. No drinking water. Walking tracks were muddy and slippery (bit rainy there)..
Awesome Free camping spot. 5 fire pits, drop toilets (little smelly) toilet paper is provided but just bring some in case. Heaps of bench’s. Need to bring water for cooking and drinking, no taps. No rubbish bins so please take rubbish with you. Need to bring own firewood as there wasn’t much wood around to keep fire going if it really cold. Highly recommend this place. A bit of a drive to get here, all on a dirt road. My small car made it here just be careful of all the turns. Anyway...The place is beautiful!!! Highly recommend this place. Happy camping ??⛺️? Nearest town is 42mins away - Yarra Junction. Has a Woolworths, bottleshops etc.
Great spot with nice grounds. Roads would not suit small cars in wet weather. About 10 car spots Several fire pits and a covered picnic bench for eating. Close to Melbourne. Worth seeing Ada Tree.
It is an amazing place to camp. Went here for Easter holidays. Met very friendly people who helped and guided us in almost every aspect of camping. Woodfire can be gathered from around the forest. Close to Melbourne CBD.
Loved the spot. I have everything you need, sheltered table, fireplace, clean toilets and an amazing and peaceful forest around you. I’d go back there for sure.
This place is Beautiful !!!... Nice neat grassy area, a few designated fire pits with logs cut into bench seats. Toilets were clean. Area is well maintained all round.... **unfortunately the grass is 'walk on access' only, and only allows for pitching tents. Descent sized car parking space for turning around, sleeping in a camper van or car/rooftop tent. NOT really suitable for caravans or camper trailers.... Long windy dirt road to get there, extremely well maintained when we were there in early December '17. (We passed the grader in operation) - A Pair Of Trippers
